I am so excited to be able to share in one of the most important family traditions on my fathers side of the family. I am going to be marrying my fiancé in the church that my parents, my grandparents, great grandparents and so on for six generations were married in. Each couple has had a long lasting love that I hope to have with my love. We will be wed in the Fox Island United Church of Christ(FIUCC) in July 2016. This church was built by the founding families of Fox Island, Wa which included several relatives of mine. Since then, the congregation has grown to a much larger size and the FIUCC was built to represent the original chapel. This church looks over the water of the Puget Sound and has magnificent windows that provide a view of the gorgeous red summer sunsets.
I encourage people to go explore the beautiful state of Washington for yourselves….there is so much beauty to be found!
The count down is finally on and I can hardly wait!
